Charl has been practicing as a professional architect for over 35 years. He has a strong design sense and attention to detail. Through years of focusing on residential, public and institutional projects as well as environmentally conscious design in the eco-tourism sector,he has developed a sensitivity to the context presented by each different site and client brief. The planning of the projects and use of materials result in the buildings having a strong sense of place. The aim is to satisfy the client’s needs in both a functional and emotional manner in terms of creating spaces that are both humane and nurturing whether it be a residential or institutional project.

JONATHAN ROUX

B.Soc.Sci(UCT) M.Arch(NMMU) Pr.Arch(SACAP 24751319)

Jonathan has a background in social science. This lends a certain sensitivity to his approach to design. With interest in social development projects, and buildings that have an impetus in bringing people together in new and transformative ways he has the three dimensional design ability that augments his fathers knowledge and experience. He appreciates environmentally conscious, sustainable architecture that takes reference from place. Residential architecture is also a passion- “Good architecture changes peoples lives: this is exhilarating to be a part of.”
